Following much speculation, the “Perfect Illusion” singer announced the exciting news on Thursday (September 29), tweeting, “It’s not an illusion. The rumors are true.”

The 2017 Super Bowl will land in Houston on February 5, 2017. In the meantime, Gaga is busy promoting her upcoming album, Joanne, due out October 21. The LP reportedly includes collaborations with Florence Welch, Beck, Mark Ronson, Father John Misty, Josh Homme of Queens of Stone Age, and Kevin Parker of Tame Impala... so Gaga should have no trouble finding guests for her big performance.
